PREFACE

Ok...I haven't done any prefaces to any songs except this one. So I want to start by saying; this verse wrote itself. I was just thinking about what to write about as I felt I didn't have ANYTHING worth saying. I felt like every songt I've made lately have been for entertainment purposes. The song are mostly in the moment, in the experience, or about someone. But this verse was how I actually felt when writing it. This verse is inspired by a co-working commenting on my late arrival to the job. I tuned all of it out except one phrase. "YOU HAVE TO RESPECT TIME, MAN"! So here it is.

All I really want at this moment, is a note pad/

"See" without the traveling band and play the nomad/

I been so involved with just being involved/

My days and nights all seem one/

As they don't clash/

As if the moon and the sun, just do a long dance.../

It makes you feel sort of small, when trying soak it in/

Who's the mortician for stars fizzling off, dim.../

...in the darkness of this space- time continuum/

Who's the musician, that orchestrates "the big bang" in/

The wake of the events, that contributed to it/

To this, to us, this "NOW"/

As in.../

...the perimeter in which I stuck this LINE in/

A hybrid.../

...of exponentially large giant unknown forces too humbling to feel excitement/

A virus in a being/

A grain salt washed off shore, lost in the seas/

Dreamy eyes of mine unto the sky, reminds me/

My ego is a reflection of me/

Miniscule of a mass, in a galaxy/

So I assume that the consumption of elaborate jewels/
are tools, used to add weight in a weightless plume/

Your lifetime, a giga-second in waiting room/

debating who's next to meet a fate of doom/

So your obsession of retail, question through perception does it mean #FAIL/

An argument over Scale verses Detail/

I tried to write something that was relevant/

But find myself propelling sheets…/

It started off with me trying to be productive/

Open (minded) forum discussion/

Mind in a void when confronting my fickle side/
