PopiKoK was formed through the genius insanity of singer/songwriter Michael Satro with only one thing in mind -- to create intelligent guitar driven music with cutting edge dance beats that'll keep you moving and redefine electronica/alternative rock as you know it. PopiKoK's songs ("Ultimatum" and "Your Eyes Burn") have appeared in the feature film "BLAST!" (2005) and eleven of their tracks in FashionTV's episodic "Shoot Me!" (2005/2006). Their song, "Sister", has also been awarded VH1's Song of The Year Award for the month of April (2005). PopiKoK's music has also been featured on Nic Harcourt's Morning Becomes Eclectic radio show on KCRW (Los Angeles) and have continuously topped the charts on numerous indie music sites for weeks running. PopiKoK has played the House of Blues Sunset, The Whiskey, The Viper Room, Avalon Hollywood, Key Club, and almost all the other great hot spots in their hometown of Los Angeles.
