Peter Evrard

Peter Evrard (born October 19th, 1974) is the winner of the first season of the Belgian Pop Idol contest called Idool 2003. Evrard defied the traditional rules of the Idols series by singing rock music instead of the expected pop. Regardless, he managed to win the series, and in 2003 he placed third overall in the World Idol contest. In 2006, he also got in the finals for the Eurosong selection in Belgium with the number Coward. He then lost by televote in favour of Kate Ryan Evrard lives and works in Brussels, Belgium. He is married and has 2 sons.
