Kayla Irwin’s debut single ‘Step On It’ featuring ‘Lil Jon’ is this vivacious teens first foray into the world of radio (set for release March 14th, 2011). ‘Step On It’ is an edgy CHR pop song that exudes Kayla’s high energy and sassy personality. Kayla credits Britney Spears for being a huge inspiration to her, as well as Ke$ha and of course, Justin Bieber. Featured on ‘Step On It’ are the more than impressive vocals of multi-platinum rapper/DJ Lil Jon (Get Low, Snap Yo Fingers). Through OnTime Music Group (OMG) Kayla has a powerhouse ‘dream team’ behind her including Kevin Figs who is a massive remix producer and drummer having completed remixes for Lady Gaga, Willow Smith and Rihanna. As a drummer Kevin has shared the stage with the likes of The Stereos, Jay Sean, Ricky J, LMFAO and Hedley. The Executive Producer for Kayla’s project is Kurt Gentles who has 10 years of music biz experience as an Artist Development Manager and A&R rep for Universal Music (USA). He is also the CEO of OnTime Music Group (OMG). While at Universal Kurt has worked on projects for Rihanna, Lloyd and Alterbridge. The writers for “Step On It” include Dylan Moffat Lotmore, Kayla Irwin, Kurt Gentles (OMG) and Jessica Sack-Tina (OMG). Dylan is currently signed to Sony Publishing and has written songs with Ray J and Akon. Jim Zolis is the driving force behind Zolis Audio Productions with over 25 years of diverse engineer experience. His credits include: Garry Beals, Jane Siberry, Orin Isaacs, Pavlo, Celine Dion, The Nylons, V.I.P., Candi and the Backbeat, to name but a few of his amazing accomplishments.
