Vanbot

Late night bike riding and endless love for retro synthesizers inspired Ester Ideskog to compose synth-heavy electro pop as her alter ego Vanbot. Now she’s back with her new single, Hold This Moment, which is about the exhilaration a certain moment brings and the lack of power to maintain it. The new album will be released in the spring 2013.

The self-titled debut album was released in 2011 on Vanbot’s own label, Lisch Recordings that received rave reviews in Europe and the US. After performing in both Europe and the US, new songs were inspired by the idea of creating tension between the beautiful and the skewed; to find a balance between catchy melodies and twisted synthesizers. The focus is still on the melodies, but with more distorted elements.
