The Ramjets

The Australian rock band The Ramjets is comprised of Kyle Wright (vocals), Cameron McDonald (drums), David Muldoon (guitar), and Jamie Tabler (bass). Hailing from Brisbane and with dreams of making it big, the foursome formed in late 2003 when Wright and Muldoon who had been writing original music together for several years in former bands, opted to form a band devoted to Rock’n’Roll. Embracing catchy hooks, great melodies and anthem like vocals, The Ramjets have compiled a set of instantly infectious rock songs crossing borders of hard rock, glam rock, dance and pop. Since their fist gig in May 2004, which won them 2nd place in the QUT finals band search competition The Ramjets have been steadily building a fan base in Brisbane, a limited release EP was released in early 2005 earning radio play on select radio stations. The Ramjets have played gigs at: QUT – Gardens Point Guild Bar, Souths Sports Club, The Globe, Coolangatta Hotel (currenty on-list for future support gigs), The Waterloo, The Jubilee Hotel, Springwood Hotel – Barra Bar, Gilhoolys – Surfers Paradise, C7 nightclub – Toowoomba, Acacia Ridge Football Club – End of Season Carnival.
