An award winning performer, and sought after writer and producer for some of today’s hottest talent, Steven Russell started his career in the late 1980’s as one of the lead vocalist in the multi-platinum R&B group, TROOP.

Over the last 20 years working in the music industry he has written and produced hit songs for the likes of Mario, B2K, Chris Brown, Ruben Studdard, Tyrese, Tank, Omarion, Marques Houston, 702, Fantazia, 3LW, Glenn Lewis, Luke & Q, B5, Troop, LSG, Avant, Monica, KeKe Wyatt, Donnel Jones, Charlie Wilson and many more.

He has three smashes on Chris Brown’s last platinum cd, including , «TAKE YOU DOWN», «HELP ME» AND «GET AT CHA»… To his credit he was awarded a Grammy in 2009, for «INVISIBLE» Jennifer Hudson, and co-wrote the world renown Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown hit song, «NO AIR»!
