Shoebucket

Shoebucket is a fairly unique band out of the Baltimore area. Comprised of seasoned musicians, the band enjoys everthing from classic rock to modern pop, and their sets show it. Shoebucket is unique in that they play many B-side tunes, and songs that you do not normally hear from other cover bands. At a Shoebucket show, you are bound to be tapping your foot and saying to a friend nearby, "I love this song. I can't remember the last time I heard it." Shoebucket's blend of modern rock and pop tunes balanced with a mix of classics ensures that a Shoebucket show engages all demographics. The 30-40 crowd thinks we're like "Totally", and the college kids are all OMG at our shows. We understand that a band's role in the club scene is to be a live jukebox. We don't look at ourselves as rock stars, we just love to play, and love to get a room full of people up and moving around. That energy and sense of fun comes across in all of our shows. This project is also our Steely Dan. We'll play live. We'll play acoustically. We'll play in the studio. We'll jam on covers, but we also have a library of original music that runs the gamut from Brit-Pop to Modern Prog rock. Got eight minutes to kill? We have songs for that. We should call ourselves Spaghetti on the Wall, because we are happy to toss it all out there, and just see what sticks. We've found the right noodles, Shoebucket is...
