Группа берёт своё название из фильма 1985 года «Return of the Living Dead», где зомби просят по рации прислать ещё медиков.

Группа образовалась в 2001 году в Leeds, Yorkshire, UK. Просуществовала формация до 2007 года и были подписана на лейбле In at the Deep End Records.

Send more paramedics играют в стиле кроссовера восьмидесятых годов, лирика конечно же о зомби и каннибализме.
