Ruby Summer

We are RUBY SUMMER. Ruby is 17, Summer is 20. We are sisters from Encinitas, California. We surf, dance, act, play guitar, dulcimer, and other various sundry things with strings. We record in our studio in our garage which we call "The Glitter-Box" Our house smells like surf wax, camp fires, and Lilies. We grew up on the records of Joni Mitchell and the artistry of our own parents. We walk around barefoot, make daisy chain bracelets, and eat California Burrito's. We rarely get hair-cuts, have sandy toes, and love anything that sparkles. Our album on Lyric Street Records will be released in Spring of '09. It represents Art reflecting Life, a long Journey of Relationships, Redemption, and Becoming. We played the local coffee shop by night, wrote songs with our Dad by day, and now we're recording and telling our STORIES. We hope to inspire and unite people with our music, the way that music unites and inspires us. PEACE.LOVE.UNITY
