Powerline

Powerline is a fictional music singer. He is the biggest pop rock star from the film A Goofy Movie.
His voice was provided by Tevin Campbell.
Also … Powerline was an act from the UK whose “Double Journey” (1981) presaged some of the sounds and production tricks associated with house music, such as melancholy piano chords drenched in reverb. It shared producers and a record label with Atmosfear of “Dancing in Outer Space” fame, and was licensed by Francois Kevorkian’s Prelude label.
