Phil Drane

Phil considers himself to be an entertainer first and foremost and he has purposely built up a repertoire that allows him to adapt each performance to suit his audience whether in the UK or overseas. He does not like to be labelled or pigeon-holed into one music genre, although being a proud Englishman he will tend to perform indigenous English Folk-Roots music (music which pertains to his own English people, and their evolving social history, culture and traditions) whenever he can. He sings many indigenous English traditional songs for this very reason, but he is not an English Traditional Singer.
