Paloma

Paloma is probably one of the most demanding (with himself) and talented artists in the french folk scene. After having released several albums : S/T (acuarela), Actresses date actors (62TV records), and getting reviews both in Europe and the States (Pitchfork), he is currently putting the final touches on his latest opus. Paloma is also the name of a band based in College Park, Maryland, USA. They play jazz-rock and pop. Formerly The Rhetorical Pigeons, the group changed its name with the arrival of Mark Schulze (guitar, vocals). Their lineup is Schulze, Paul Zimand (guitar, piano), Brian Davis (bass), and David Morgan (drums). As Paloma, they have released one full length CD, "Little People," in early 2007.
