Noah Georgeson

Noah Georgeson is a Californian musician and producer. He is most well-known for his production work with Joanna Newsom (Milk-eyed Mender), Devendra Banhart (Cripple Crow), Mason Jennings, and Bert Jansch. «Find Shelter», Noah’s first solo album, was released on November 28th, 2006 by Plain Recordings. The album was recorded in San Francisco and Nevada City between 1999 and 2003.
He first found success as a part of San Francisco band The Pleased, along with fellow member Joanna Newsom.Noah received his Master’s Degree in music composition from Mills College in Oakland, California in 2003, and has studied with Terry Riley, Alvin Curran, Pauline Oliveros and Fred Frith.He is the touring guitar player in Devendra Banhart’s band.(c)
