Nadia Lanfranconi

Nadia Lanfranconi is a singer/songwriter from Lake Como, Italy now located in Los Angeles. One hundred years ago, truly back in the day, there was one form of music that All Americans would rush to buy! By 1910, Italian Opera accounted for almost 80 per cent of All sales of those new-fangled things called records in the USA. One hundred years later, America has come full circle to embrace a native of the small town of Lake Como, Italy, with a unique and captivating style of Rock n Roll, distilled in a sweet and assured voice that soothes even as it bites into a lyric. Even as a child, aged four, Nadia felt the musical universe was the one she should grow into and explore. She was entered in the biggest singing contest in Italy, for which she received a very respectable third place. With The gift of a karaoke machine at age ten, the vista opened further for her creativity. She would practice her favorite songs over and over to find her own voice to sing them. Her favorite song was John Lennon’s “Imagine”. After many collaboration with different italian bands and artists she moved to Milan in 2005 writing her own material and honing it with a solo career in mind. She was writing in italian at first and then started writing in english and felt more comfortable. Nadia’s musical journey picked up momentum when she moved to Los Angeles in 2007 and recorded her EP " Bad Story",available from mid October 2007. To her delight, great Los Angeles musicians embraced Nadia’s music and signed on for the EP.
