Shakespeare once asked, «What is in a name?». Mykko Montana’s name has so many meanings but his music can best be defined as exceptional. It is said that art mirrors life, but in hip hop’s case there has always been a deliberate entanglement of perception and reality. Fans demand their MC’s to keep it real but never too real and that is what Myko Montana is going to give you…realness. Successful hip-hop is about the hint of danger, the tease of it, and the mystique. Hip-hop is about balance. Myko wants the music industry to know he is next. Southern rapper Mychael S. Graves, Jr., known as Myko Montana, began his music journey May 2009. As a solo artist he quickly became a favorite to the ears of Atlanta. With the short amount of time spent gracing the city with is talent, his style and ability are equivalent to a veteran that has been honing his craft for decades or centuries. Myko Montana is currently 21 years old born at Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta, GA to Mychael and Sharon Graves on November 4, 1987. He has two sisters and an older brother. Myko graduated from Morrow High School, Morrow, GA in 2006 with plaques and certificates from his involvement and achievements in sports. He is one of the five members of a group known as Fab 5. You can catch Myko and his group members in every club throughout the city. While everyone is claiming to be next…Myko Montana is now. He thinks highly of himself and keeps God first. His first song ‘Riding’ with Fab 5 group member, Mario aka Slim Dunkin featuring Sean Teezy was recorded in Arrogant Musiq Studio’s. Myko new hit single ‘Problem Solver’ was recorded in GNM Records Studio. One goal that keeps Myko uplifted and anxious about reaching his goal and vision is that he feels that no one can beat Myko at being Myko.
