Биография Moon Mullican
Moon Mullican (March 27, 1909 - January 1, 1967) was an American country and western singer, songwriter, and pianist. Born Aubrey Mullican in Polk County, Texas, he was associated with the hillbilly boogie style, which greatly influenced rockabilly. He was cited by Jerry Lee Lewis as a major influence on Lewis' singing and piano playing. Mullican's best known songs were: "Jole Blon", a Cajun song recorded by Doug Kershaw and others; "Jambalaya," co-written and made famous by Hank Williams; "I'll Sail My Ship Alone"; "Seventeen"; and "Seven Nights To Rock". Moon Mullican died in 1967 in Beaumont, Texas and in 1976 was posthumously inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
