Биография Marshall Hain
Marshall Hain were a British pop-rock duo, well known for having a UK Top 3 hit single in the summer of 1978 called "Dancing In The City". In the United States the song reached #43 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in the winter of 1979. The group's members were keyboard player Julian Marshall, and vocalist and bass player Kit Hain. They followed this up with the ballad "Coming Home", which reached number 39 in the UK Singles Chart later that year. Both hits were on the Harvest record label. "Coming Home" was backed by strings and fretless bass, and they released an unsuccessful album called Free Ride. They split up in 1980. Subsequently in 1984 Hain went to live in the U.S. to concentrate her own songwriter career. Marshall was also a member of Flying Lizards, who had a UK Top 10 hit with their cover of "Money (That's What I Want)" in 1979. The song reached #50 in the US. Marshall later formed the duo Eye To Eye with singer-songwriter, Deborah Berg. Eye To Eye released a single called "Am I Normal?" which was written by Marshall and Berg. This failed to chart in the UK although their song "Nice Girls" charted in the US reaching #37 on the Billboard Hot100 in the summer of 1982 and a second song, "Lucky," reached #88 in the US during the autumn of 1983. "Am I Normal?" was covered by David (real name Virginia David) in 1983 on the Stiletto record label. It was produced by Andy Hill, but also failed to chart in the UK, despite being playlisted on BBC Radio 1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marshall_Hain Gareth Bowen (Bowen93)
