Mambo Siria

Mambo Siria is a folklore band from Romania. The style is heavily based on trompets and drums, simmilar to a phanphare. The band was discovered and promoted by romanian poet and journalist Mircea Dinescu. The band members are from Mircea Dinescu's estate, in Cetate, Dolj. The style and influneces of the band are from pupular romanian wedding and funeral songs, very much like Goran Bregovich. The band members are common villagers and they are not professional singers.
