The Lilys are a dreampop/shoegaze/indie rock band that formed in 1988 in washington, dc. they are largely recognized in the underground music scene as purveyors in all types of styles. so don’t go with the preconceived notions that they are just, “another shoegaze band.” actually, the band has dabbled in areas of psychedelic rock, garage and pop.
