"Sexy Ugly" is a song written by Lady GaGa and Rob Fusari (Team Love Child) in 2007.A snippet leaked on January 12, 2010, along side 4 other snippets, Glitter & Grease, the second verse of Out Of Control, Animal, and Text You Pictures. On April 6, 2010, another snippet leaked through a user on GaGaBoards. Three more leaked on May 6, 2010 through iLeaks.com and the Twitter user by the name of Dirigibles.During her performance at Glastonbury in the UK, she performed the bridge of this song as an interlude before "Just Dance". During the second leg of The Monster Ball Tour, a neon sign with the words "Sexy Ugly" is used while Gaga performs "Just Dance". During an interview with Billboard Magazine, Fusari recalls the meeting with Gaga, Vincent Herbert, and himself that they had with Jimmy Iovine, the CEO of Interscope Records: "Anyway, Jimmy Iovin listens to a little bit of “Dirty, Rich” and to another record Stef [Gaga] and I did called “Sexy Ugly”. He stands up, looks at Vincent Herbert and says, “Let’s give it a try.” And that was it.
