La Unión, cuarteto español liderado por Rafa Sánchez, nació en Madrid a finales del año 82, al calor de la denominada "Movida Madrileña", amalgama cultural multidisciplinar que insufló aire fresco a la rancia y acartonada noche de Madrid. Si bien ciertos aspectos de este movimiento sugerían transgresión y rebeldía, La Unión se acomodó enseguida en posiciones "ligth" con composiciones synth-pop repletas de referencias cinematográficas y literarias. Founded in Madrid at the end of '82 in the heat of the "Movida Madrileña", a multicultural movement formed of different art expressions that added freshness to the previously stiff Madrid atmosphere.
