Kolgate, Kolgy, Koly, KO, Whatever you want to call him. Kolgate is the master of rhymes. He was born June 14th, 1987 in Cleveland, Ohio. Although he had a rough childhood, Kolgate has overcome many obstacles in his 21 years. Who he was, and where he has been have made him who he is today. He began making music in early 2005, co-creating a group with childhood friend Vince "Veeno" Veverka. Called "The Midwest Menaces" And who exactly is Kolgate now, you might ask? A true, down to earth, lyrical genius. He raps about the truth, what he sees, and what he has lived. Music is Kolgate's passion. A lot bad ass... and maybe a little "scene," Kolgate rolls with the Undead Army. His honesty is loved by some, hated by others, but regardless, he always says what's on his mind. Kolgate doesn't believe in bullshitting people, or telling them what they want to hear. He simply speaks the truth. It's just another trait his fans love him for. He has a kind heart, an open mind, and a strong will. Kolgate is also a dedicated friend. From his real life friends, to his online friends, even to his stalkers, he's always true. Everything Kolgate does, he does for his fans (and even for his haters, too). His fans have brought him to where he is today, and he has the utmost respect for them. How does Kolgate feel about the industry today? He will be the first to admit however that the state of hip-hop today is not relatable to anyone except other 'rappers'. He wants to break that, He wants people to feel his music, and he doesn’t mean 'like it', He means feel it. He doesn’t give a hell if you hate him, and never listen again if you just listen once and soak in what he's saying, he knows somewhere down the line that it's gonna effect you.
