Биография Kid Vishis
I moved from Detroit (6 Mile & Northlawn) to Oak Park (Niggas and Chaldeans) for the majority of my life, then right on back to 6 Mee-zee. I know ya'll heard of Royce having many brothers that rap...but I'm the only one, yeah, that's right...blood brothers. And if it's not Smackman or Alex...they NOT Royces' brother. Tell dem niggas "quit frontin'." I been listening to rap and hoopin for most of my life. Me, Royce and Smackman used to freestyle downstairs in the basement of our mommas house- rappin on a oldskool radio/mic setup. As I was growin' up I was always messin around now and then with the freestylin. After highschool...we would be drivin' and drinkin (illegal-i know) freestylin over instrumentals. Me and one of my boys who was better at it, started writing rhymes so we could go to open mics and spit em to see what type of response we would get. And people started tellin me I was dope. And that made me want to write a couple other rhymes that lead me to write another couple other rhymes. Royce would be outta town a lot gettin' that bread so I wasn't really around him in the beginning--and he had no idea that I started rappin-- he always knew me to hoop. His peoples started coming up to him one by one asking him if he ever heard me and telling him that he should have me rap for him. One day in 2003, me and dude that I was going to the open mic with, went to Twinz studio where Royce was recording. The session started around 8:30 pm. Around 7 am, when we decided to leave, Royce suddenly asks me to "spit somethin real quick." Long story short, he liked what he heard. It was something that he thought was worth polishin up and seeing what came out. 2 months after that I was in the studio with Royce working on "Yes" and "Sick" from the "M.I.C Vol. 1" mixtape. That's when I started getting my respect. A couple months later, Royce had a show in either Lansing or Grand Rapids and Royce gave me a mic and was like, "Come on." And then I started traveling with him everywhere after that doing the hype man thing and he would let me spit freestyle/accapelllas on stage, on radio, on camera, and sometimes on spot for people. First we did a "Death Is Certain" Promo Tour and then a Canadian tour where we drove a van all the way through Canada, from Windsor to Vancouver to cities that I never heard of. SHOUT OUT TO EVERY TOWN IN CANADA-THEY KEPT ME HIGH! THEY ALL KEPT ME HIGH! An over seas tour with Proof, R.I.P. And did shows all over Cali (including House of Blues with Slum Village), all over Chigago (including House of Blues), Virginia, all over Arizona, Cleveland, Toledo, Portland, Wash. D.C., Down South, Miami, in St. Louis, Atlanta. New York (I did the Roseland Ballroom with Rakim, Ghostface, Slick Rick, Talib Kwali), all over the east coast. I don't even remember all the gotdamn places but shouts out to em all! Shit. So, if doing open mics and having a couple people come up to me and say I "did a good job" made me want to write a couple more rhymes, what do you think a bunch of people all around the country plus the rest of the world would make me do? This is my job. So that brings me to the present. Now I got a chance to start recording. I just finished the Kid Vishis and ASAR mixtape, titled, "Vishis is Me: The Sick 'Em Mixtape Vol. 1" Now the focus is on getting Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 and Vol. 4 to ya'll. Sick 'Em! credit to:
