Juan Carlos Alvarado

On Dec 28th 1964, Juan Carlos Alvarado was born in Guatemala, that a few years later would become one of the pioneers of praise and worship in Latin America. Juan Carlos, from a child, felt a great inclination for music. At 17 years old, already being a master at piano and synthesizers, was involved in one of the most important young rock bands from his city, where they interpreted the greatest secular hits of that time period. It was specifically in that time frame of being a “rocker” that Jesus Christ reached his life. At 21 years old, he began to develop as the pastor of praise in the “Church of Christian Word in Action” which then led to his first steps as a musical producer, therefore producing hits like, "Digno de Alabar”, “Jehova es mi Guerrero”, “Glorificad a Jehova”, “Santo es el Senor”, and “Mas que vencedor”. At this point in his ministry, Alvarado has become one of the Lord’s servants most solicited in the entire continent, receiving invitations to meetings and seminaries of praise.
