Хью Грант и Дрю Бэрримор снялись вместе в американской романтической комедии 2007 года «Music and Lyrics», которая в российском прокате вышла под названием «С глаз — долой, из чарта — вон!» А также записали дуэтом саундтрек к нему.

По сюжету Алекс Флетчер (Хью Грант / Hugh Grant) некогда был суперзвездой, но со временем его популярность практически сошла на нет. И вот случай может дать ему ещё один шанс — Алексу предлагают записать дуэт с мегапопулярной певичкой Корой Корман (Хейли Беннетт / Haley Bennett).

Чтобы это сделать, Алексу надо за пару дней написать текст для песни, но он никогда в жизни не написал ни строчки, и уже практически впал в отчаяние, но тут появляется молодая Софи Фишер (Дрю Бэрримор / Drew Barrymore), обладающая талантом написания текстов. Между певцом и своенравной девицей вскоре вспыхивают чувства.
