Fight the Moon has landed. Nearly a year after the initial tracking sessions at "The Land" in Long Beach, WA and with sessions spanning across Oregon and California, Fight the Moon:Vol. 1 is finally complete. Ben Bateman and David Frank did not expect over 1,000 hours of combined, writing, recording and production when they began the process, but by the Fall of 2009 they were immersed in an experience that would completely saturate the next year of their lives. At least. The process yielded over 15 meticulously well-developed songs that reek of dedication, curiosity and imagination. Rather than releasing a traditional LP, Fight The Moon has decided to stagger their releases into a series of musical volumes that will keep you craving their next installment.
