FewLeftStanding

FewLeftStanding was a metalcore band out of Memphis, Tennessee. Along with Underoath, they were signed to Takehold Records and were later signed to Solid State Records when its parent company Tooth & Nail Records bought out Takehold. FewLeftStanding was known for their explicitly Christian lyrics, easily coherent screams, and broadening of the metal/hardcore genre. The quartet made their recorded debut with "Wormwood" shortly after the Solid State buyout. The album was well received, due in large part to being one of the first albums produced by Bruce Fitzhugh of Living Sacrifice fame. After their second release, "Regeneration of Self," FewLeftStanding disbanded. Though short-lived, FewLefStanding's musical and lyrical influence still echoes in many current artists in the genre.
