Eun Ji Won

Eun Ji Won (Korean: 은지원) (born June 8, 1978, South Korea is a Korean musician formerly of the group Sechs Kies (젝스키스), now working under SD Entertainment. His English name is Matthew Eun and went to Korea Kent Foreign School. He was the oldest member and leader of Sechs Kies. After Sechs Kies ended, he started his solo career in 2001 under the name G1. He has worked with such artists as Lee Hyo Ri and Drunken Tiger. He has also starred in a leading role in the movie High School Girl Gets Married. In mid-2006, he joined The Movement, a group of rappers from all over Korea. Though Sechs Kies disbanded in 2000, in 2002 he performed along side with former Sechs Kies members, Kang Sung Hoon, and J-Walk (Kim Jae Duc and Jang Su Won). Recently, Ji Won had performed at the DKNY Party. He is planning to star on a new TV show, followed by working on his fifth album. He has stated that the TV show and his fifth album have nothing to do with each other. In 2007, he has appeared on a new variety show called '1 Night 2 Days (1박 2일)' and 'Burst! Mental Concentration (작렬! 정신통일)'. Most recently, after more than two years[1], he has released a new song, titled "Adios" and has performed it on many shows.
