Down & Out

"Down & Out" is a Southern Rock/blues band formed in 2003 in Athens Greece. All three members of the band just love good old rock n'roll, blues and hillbilly music and they just can't hide it! Their music is characterized by a back-to-basics approach, which is actually the main reason for achieving such a weird - considering the fact we're talking about three young Greeks - sense of originality. However, "Down & Out" have already managed to have an especially fanatic fan base, mainly because of their good mood and the feel of sincerity of their sound. They prove it in all their live-shows, no matter if we're talking about their own small headlining gigs or as a supporting act to some of the bigger names of the kind such as Gary Moore, Johnny Winter and The Beasts of Bourbon in front of much bigger audiences.This year, "Down & Out" realized their first European tour, starting from live halls all over Greece over to Istanbul, Dublin and Kilkenny Ireland where their shows at the "Guinness Kilkenny Rhythm & Roots Festival" are considered to be their tour's highlight. This October they're gonna release their first album by "Studio II Records".Nevertheless they count a 7" vinyl single,many demo and promo CD's and having taking part in many compilations as well.
