Dove Hagan

Dove Hagan (born Tamisha Hazelhurst a.k.a Tamisha Hagan) in Jacksonville, FL is an American R&B and Soul Singer/Songwriter that is currently independently distributed. Dove began singing at an early age and was nurtured and encouraged vocally by her mother and music educators from her primary and secondary schools. Dove's professional singing career began to take form in 2004 when she initiated the recording of her debut album, but due to unforeseen circumstances and set backs beyond her control, there was a 5year break before she would enter the studio again. August of 2009 was in essence a rebirth for Dove and she was able to go back into the studio to complete what she started years before. Dove has focused on giving fans a more intimate seat to experience through song how she views the world and the range of emotions that the world offers the human experience. In the past year, her independent debut album In the Key of G.., has taken form and with persistence and dedication was released October 2010. Since the release of “In the Key of G..” Dove has created a buzz in independent circles on a national and international level. The interest gained among local industry professionals is due in part to Dove’s unique vocal styling and writing ability, but even more so has captured a growing fan base that long awaited her formal debut. Her appeal among DJs both on the national and international level are continuing to grow. Dove’s segue into the UK listening audience was bridge by a UK DJ Tony T Hayles that Dove had the honor of writing the theme song for his radio show. Dove's fans, or as they are affectionately known-“birdwatchers", have been instrumental in spreading the word about this independent artist.
