Casey Carlson

Casey Carlson is a musician, host & actress from Minneapolis, MN. She is currently based in Los Angeles, CA. She was a top 36 contestant on the eighth season of American Idol. In 2009, she made her acting debut in Blake Lewis' music video for his single "Sad Song". In 2010 she recorded a studio album titled "XOXO", under the name Stella Project in which the hit song "Aeroplane" is featured on. "Aeroplane" has been featured in Gossip Girl, Bad Girls Club and various other TV shows. In 2011, Casey toured with Frankmusik. On the tour, she sung his song "No I.D." in duet with him. Casey has hosted The CW Twin Cities Beat, a weekly show that highlights the arts and entertainment around the Twin Cities. She also launched the production of a new web series for the station, The CW Twin Cities Airwaves, that highlights the fashion and music featured on the CW’s prime time shows, like Gossip Girl and The Vampire Diaries. The summer between her junior and senior year, Casey studied at NYU’s prestigious musical theater program. In 2008, Casey landed the title of “Cover Girl” for a calendar called “Campus Girls USA.”
