Britney Christian is the new face of “Milk Rocks!” (www.MilkRocks.com), a national campaign developed by Blue Ridge Paper Products, Inc. commencing August 2006 to promote the benefits of milk as a healthy alternative to sugar-based drinks. Starting soon, hundreds of millions of milk cartons and posters will be distributed in over 50,000 schools across the United States, each month, all bearing Britney’s photograph, name and website information. The campaign is particularly timely since school nutrition was a constant focus of media attention this past spring and the issue will no doubt resurface when school resumes later this month. The promotion will also highlight a “Milk Rocks!” jingle co-written by Britney and produced by Elicit Music's Rob Hoffman and Heather Holley, Christina Aguilera's longtime songwriting/production team. The jingle will receive extensive play in various mediums in a further effort to promote milk consumption. An EP containing two of Britney’s songs will be distributed to the schools and for at least one winner of the major sweepstakes on www.milkrocks.com, Britney and her band will perform a free concert at their lucky school. In addition, Britney is slated to tour nationwide in support of the campaign. Not bad for a 16 year old who has yet to impact the music charts! Britney Christian is not only the new face of “Milk Rocks!” but with the impending release of her first CD, All or Nothing, she is the new emerging face of pop music. During one week last year, four of her songs were ranked in the top 10 most downloaded songs in the world on MySpace.com and she was ranked number 3 in the world for number of views. On another date in September 2005, her song “Little Things You Do” (which she wrote) was the number 1 most downloaded song worldwide out of 42,000 songs posted. The song went on to rank number 1 in Musiqtone’s Digital Top 40 for a record eight consecutive weeks and was voted by the public as “2005 Song of the Year” topping hits by artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Mariah Carey and Kanye West.
