Βάζω λίγο σκοτάδι και λιγάκι βροχή
για να σου φτιάξω μια παράξενη αρχή
και να σε ξεμακρύνω λίγο από τη σκέψη σου

Σε πάω σε δρόμο μικρό, σε σοκάκι παλιό

άραξε δίπλα να σου βάλω ένα κρασί να πιεις
συγχώρεσέ με λιγάκι για τον τρόπο μου,
μα με βρήκες στην αγκαλιά της ντροπής.
Ξέμεινα μόνος μου, πάρε και κάτσε όπου θες
κουρασμένο σε βλέπω, πρέπει καιρό να γυρίζεις,
όμως μέσα στη ζαλάδα μου και πίσω απ� τις σκιές
σα να μου φαίνεται πως κάτι μου θυμίζεις. Γεια σου και σένα, έλειπα χρόνια ήμουνα κάπου μακριά
με φέραν πίσω δυνατές φωνές
και κάποιες τύψεις που μου είπαν πως εδώ κοντά
έχω γεννηθεί κι έχω πεθάνει δυο χιλιάδες φορές. Ω, να τα μας, καλά είπα όταν σε είδα
πως σίγουρα παράξενα θα πρέπει να μιλάς
από άλλο κόσμο έχεις απάνω σου σφραγίδα
αυτά τα αγκάθια στο κεφάλι και τα ρούχα που φοράς. Κάποτε κάποιοι μου το φόρεσαν για στέμμα
και με χλευάζανε μεγάλο βασιλιά ακόμα τρέχει από τότε φρέσκο αίμα
σ' αυτά που ανέβηκαν του χρόνου τα σκαλιά.
