Aaron Shanley

Aaron Shanley is a 20 year old singer-songwriter from Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Since forming his first bands in high school at the age of 12 and writing acoustic songs at the age of 15, Aaron has recently signed a publishing deal in California and has shared stages with the likes of Midge Ure, Ricky Warwick, Tom Baxter, Holly Williams, Iain Archer and Mundy. Aaron performed at the Belfast Nashville Songwriter’s Festival 2010 where he was awarded the Katherine Brick Award for Young Songwriter of the Year and was one of the four Irish songwriters invited to play several showcases in Nashville, TN. To date Aaron has released four singles on White Mountain Music, all of which have achieved UK and Irish radio play, most notably BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio Ulster, BBC 6 Music and Phantom FM, and has been tipped in Hot Press magazine. Aaron is currently recording his debut album which will be released in September on his label Love Gum Records.
