A Cursive Lie

A Cursive Lie is an American progressive metal band from Arlington, Texas. Formed in October 2009, the band began their first performances while still attending high school, and soon began playing shows around the Dallas Fort Worth area (DFW). The band is primarily known for their technical guitar/bass riffs, and odd-meter fast drumming. They state Between the Buried and Me, Protest The Hero, The Faceless, and the popular Hip-Hop artist "kid Cudi" as their main influences. The band is gaining large acceptance througout the Texas music scene for their musicianship and ability to match almost any other band that contests.
