183 Club

183 Club is a Taiwanese boyband managed by a company called Jungiery. They have appeared on the talk show called "Big Brother Mandarin Show". The group members are: * Sam Wang Shao Wei (王紹偉, b. Dec. 18, 1976) * Matthew Lin Ming Dao (明道, b. Feb. 26, 1980) * Ehlo Huang Yu Rong (黃玉榮, b. Apr. 1, 1977) * Jacky Chu Fan Gang (祝釩剛, b. Aug. 22, 1979) * Johnny Yan Xing Shu Band Leader (顏行書, b. Sept 8, 1976) They also acted in various Taiwanese dramas such as The Magicians of Love 愛情魔髮師, The Prince Who Turns Into a Frog 王子變青蛙 and Le Robe de Mariage des Cieux 天国的嫁衣. Their average height combined together is roughly 183cm, hence the group name 183 Club. However, it is true that only one member is 183cm tall.(Yan Xin Shu) Members Johnny Yan was previously a national basketball player in Taiwan and was later invited to shoot a drama named MVP Valentine. This drama eventually made him popular and he has been with Jungiery ever since. He has also starred in another idol drama, Snow Angel. Sam Wang, who is also a member of 5566, was a former national soccer player for Taiwan. He later dabbled in modeling, which led to a successful singing career. He also co-hosts a variety show in Taiwan called Wan Quan Yu Le: Shui Zui Dai Zhong with K-One's JR. Ming Dao started out as a host for an entertainment show named Mao Xian Wang, and eventually signed with Jungiery and went on to star in the idol dramas Le Robe de Mariage des Cieux Heaven's Wedding Gown, The Prince Who Turns Into a Frog and The Magicians of Love. Ming Dao has wrapped up filming on Xing Ping Guo Le Yuan which also co-stars K-One's Li Yang and 7F's Wei Ru and is scheduled to be aired sometime during the Summer of 2006. Ehlo Huang had his own album with a now defunct company. As a result, he encountered financial difficulties. Fortunately for him, he was discovered by Jungiery and joined 183 Club. He has also shot several idol dramas with his fellow 183 Club band members. Jacky Zhu, a Canadian born artist, entered New Talent Singing Awards Vancouver Audition 1998 and won. He then represented Vancouver in the International Finals and was awarded First Runner-Up. He also released a solo album called 告解 before he became a 183 Club member. Together with 183 CLub, he has also starred in dramas. In October 2007, Jacky was suspended for not following the rules.
